Jewelry Care

Most of our pieces are 24K Gold Plated Stainless Steel, Gold Filled & Gold Vermeil. Tarnishing is rare and takes a while for pieces to lose its luster, however, we recommend avoiding moisture and getting your jewelry wet for the best longevity of your jewelry. Any jewelry that isn't solid gold can tarnish over time when exposed to chemicals like the shower, pool, seawater, hairspray, perfume, and lotions. It is recommended to keep your jewelry away from these things as possible.

Can I shower or swim with my jewelry?
Our products can sustain shower water for the most part, but chemicals such as chlorine can accelerate the tarnishing or turning of its luster. For best care— we highly recommend not showering or swim with your items.

My jewelry is turning color, why is this happening?
Every person’s unique skin-oils react differently to certain metals and plating. We are not responsible for your skin's reaction to our products. Gold plated jewelry will turn naturally over time, and there is no way to reverse this. You can prolong the life of your div9ne collective pieces by following our care recommendations.

What should I use to clean my jewelry?
For best cleaning we recommend using a microfiber cloth and toothpaste! It sounds totally crazy, but there are polishing components in toothpaste that come really handy with removing excess dirt, oils, and even a layer or tarnish.
